Any Faults With VY Executive Series II ?

Currently drive a 2003 ford courier work ute (that or my mums lancer).
For months i've been all over the internet and the area i live trying to find myself a commo, but no joy all too high in kilometers or too old.
So just yesterday it was arranged that I inspect a 03 BA Falcon, As I was there i discovered it was a piece of shit but the guy came with one of his mates who was surely enough in a 2004 VY series II exec.
After I stated i didnt want the falcon the guy from the commodore asked me if i was interested in his car, 80,000k's, books, front and rear on SSSL's, amazing condition inside and out.
when asked how much he stated 10 thousand,

please note it will be inspected and revs checked before he gets a cent.

just want to know if there is any faults i should look for when i inspect it next?
or any common problems

Have a look at the head of the VY section of the forum - plenty of VY common faults listed. Don't be misled into thinking they are no good. Excellent model if well cared for.
