Hey Guys, I changed the battery in my VY the other day and I don't have the code for my Stereo. Holden gave me the wrong code so I'm guessing the stereo has been changed. I've been punching random codes in trying to get it to work, and this morning I entered 1111 and the stereo is working... but the display is flashing. When the ignition turns off and back on, it prompts me for the code. 1111 goes back in and it's working again, but still flashing.
What does the flashing mean? could it be the service code or something?
The code may be in the service books, Had a look there? if not im not sure.

Pull the radio out (do you have removal tools - can buy on ebay for $15 odd). If youre lucky someone will have written the code in texta pen on the back of it somewhere. If not , take down the Radio serial number & part number on the back of it , ring up Blaupunkt or GMH with the part number & serial number. You should be able to get a code that way- Last resort there are only 6999 different combinations , start at 0001 & end at 7000, Best of luck.....
