VY Ecotec auto behaviour?

Hi

I have a VY wagon with the ecotec and auto. Are the gearboxes always this clunky? Sometimes its not too bad, other times its not nice at all.

Firstly, driving about 100km/h, kickdown hard to 2nd it seems to jolt fairly hard and then shift to second. Is this a normal thing?? It not like an smooth transition, but its like it pauses and then clunks then engages...

Secondly, sometimes at low speed at say 60 and you accelerate fairly softly, sometimes it sort of gives a slight jolt without changing gears?

Is this the trait of these gearboxes?? Ive done 118,000 and never had a change.. Are they due every 50,000ks?

change the filter and fluid

if you want a full flush take it to a work shop were they have a recirculater this will get the fluid in the converta
