VY2 V6 to VX V8? Would you do it?

I have a VY2 wagon V6. Ive always longed for a V8. It seems that in my price range I can only get a VX V8 wagon.

Has anyone traded down just to get a V8? I love my car however just always wanted a V8.

No , dont do it.... VY much more refined in chassis,steering,handling. Save up to trade up to a VZ SSV .

Well the VX's are kinda ugly. No offense. Your posting in the vy forums though haha.

I've been in a v8 vx wagon before and boy it was fun. Never been in a vys2 v6 wagon, but i can imagine it would be smooth.

If a V8 is in your heart, why not. As long as you can afford it. Personally, I'd hunt for a VX series 2. IMO, the VX berlina front end looks better than the VY.

It would be a matter of test driving and thinking very hard about what you are losing vs. what you are gaining. I'd be paying close attention to the handling differences.
