i cant get the search to workso here goes.
iv been thinking of getting some ss replacement seats for exec, and was looking round the car to se what was involved in changing them, found this yellow wire clip near the scrape plate inside the passenger door. thought y not, and pulled it out, pulled all the plastic off, etc. relised it wasnt that difficult to change seats and decided to put it all together again. got it all sorted, but now im getting an SRS fault!! i got no idea whats going on, and im very confused! iv tried disconnecting battery. nothing. fuse, nothing. im stumped. HELP!!!

Could be just coincidence. Is it the ABS or airbag light? You might want to clean the connector at the ABS module under the bonnet.
ok, um. i made a small mistake there. its SRS not ABS, i wasnt thinking when i wrote that... ill edit it now
Oh Dear!!!!! You probably have tampered with the seat belt pretensioners or something to do with the drivers side airbags , or your SS seats are different , they may have side airbags built into them. Anyway , they arent compatable with the Executive SRS system. You may need to delve into the wiring diagrams for SS versus Executive to find out whats wrong....
Did you unplug the harness? If so, did you turn the key on with it unplugged? That usually triggers the SRS light. Make sure the pugs are connected properly then you will have to take it in and get it reset with a tech 2 by Holden I'm afraid.
i didnt actually remove the chair, and i didnt turn the key with it unplugged. i havnt actually gotten the seats yet either.
It could be that the plugs didn't make a good connection when you plugged them back in. Either way, it needs a tech 2 to reset the SRS light.
