Dry squealing noise on start up

Hi all,

Noticed on start up today a squealing noise near the front area of the engine car is a 04 Vy Berlina V8 went away after the car warmed up?

Any ideas?

Fan belt i'd say. Scretching noise? Needs to be tighten or replaced.

errr if you havent noticed the vys are self adjusting. if it is the belt, it might be stretched or at the most it could be a failed belt tensioner.

Got it fixed yesterday. Belt was stretched and the belt tensioner pulley was farked. All up $133
