Hi y'all!
I wish I could've found better photos but I just wanted to show something you may not believe. The Holden Calais (here Chevrolet Omega) is Brazil's Presidential Car.
The first link shows a VY that was later replaced by a 2005 VZ current.
I also found an image of Brazil's president Lula a bit "airy" (there's a rumour he's all for ethanol...fueling cars and other thingsLOL) on the back seat of a VY Chevy Omega, according to the press. Is it really a VY?
Thanks for reading. Just though it'd cheer you up!
ISTOÉ DINHEIRO
Link for President's VY. The article's title: Omega's Republic.
Our lovely president...after a night out... Is it really a VY/VZ?
The leader of the Federal Senate, and his nice ride!
looking at the bonnet and tail lights, looks like a vz. but picture isn't great mate.
Check out my build <---Click me
Now sporting ASR audio interior lighting and stereo mods, and MACE induction mods.
Need your computer tuned, or dash calibrated??? Want your PS3 fixed, or wish to prevent the YLOD?
That is most certainly a VZ Berlina, not a Calais and not a VY.
Your president knows how to ride in style
Before anyone contests, here are the reasons why:
- Not a VY, VY Calais lights have indicators that sit higher within the tail lights, and VY berlina have a crystallised/fogged style rear lights.
- Not a VZ Calais, the VZ Calais has darker tinted rear lights.
im saying vz
Brazilian chicks are hot.
I'm surprised they didnt go for a statesman or caprice.
Mate, you are right but VY Calais and VY Berlina have the same rear lights, the ones you are talking about. VYII Calais lights on the other hand have the newer style rear lights with silver indicators (which was later carried over to the VZ Berlina)... By that time, the VZ Calais had the lights with darkened indicators.
Also, it is a VZ Berlina because the headrest behind the president is one of the ones that doesn't move. The Calais had the adjustable head rest for the rear seats.
