Default replacing brake pads doing my head in...

i bought myself a 322mm front brake kit for the ute. I'm trying to get the pads in before i put them on tomorrow and can't work out how the hell to get one of the pads to sit in the little clip - every time i try to use a bit of force the whole thing shoots out and scratches the caliper...
    Any ideas?

Yep. Bolt the caliper bracket in place, position the clips and pads, then lower the caliper over the pads. If you try to assemble it your way, you'll go mad.

You guys were right. I put them on this afternoon and everything just slipped in. Only problem is parts of the metal spring holder bits are rubbing on the rotors and it's squealing - a job for tomorrow i think.
