I'm due for new rubber on my SS (got nearly 35km from new - so not too bad). Factory originals are Bridgestone Potenza RE040 235/40 ZR18's. Would like to go again with these but priced at over $500 (kiwi) per tyre  Looking at alternatives quoted around $330 per tyre (balanced and fitted) for Good Year Eagle F1GSD3's - they look pretty awesome - has anyone had any experience with these babies? Would they look okay and go similar to the Bridgy's..? Appreciate any feedbank - thanks guy's.

Hi KiwiSS,

I am a service fitter for Beaurepaires, and yes the Goodyear F1 Eagles ar top of the range, have all the latest silicone and carbon compounds in the tyre, plus are rotational which give excellent performance in aquaplaining.

Cheers for that m8. Good to hear from someone in the know - they look a nice tyre and at nearly $800 a set cheaper, I think they're worth a go.! kiwiSS
