    Default 4 wheel alignment

    Hi all
Just got myself a vy ss.....Very pleased with it but noticed when following the car it is slightly "crabbing"....is it possible to adjust the rear axle alignment.....The car as far as i know and can tell has not been involved in an accident

    Thanks

    Alan

Yes mate vx series 2 onwards come with adjustable rears. Front would need to be done at the same time aswell.

you can adjust the toe on the rear, and if an aftermarket camber kit is fitted, obviously that can be adjusted too

Toe and camber adjustment is factory fitted on the rear of VYs. Camber kits aren't really needed unless the car is pretty much slammed

Thanks for your prompt replies.....Has put my mind at rest

Is this common for these adjustments to be out,and to see the car slightly crabbing?

    Thanks

Don't know if its common or not , but my wagon just had a 4 wheel alignment; it's different machine to drive now...as in HEAPS better !!

Pass side rear wheel was causing the problem , so they said... was scrubbing the inside a tad ..

the car's had a few front alignments done ; it wasn't untill Bob Jane at Miami asked if I want 2 or 4 wheels done that I even knew it was possible, or needed !! It'll never get just the front done again ...

    Hi All

Thanks your advice...Got it tracked today(4 wheels) and all is now fine....Put 4 new tyres on and it feels like a new car.

where did you take it before hand , anyone that does wheel aligment should have picked up on the rear being out long before hand ... guess most still go the toe and go method ...
