Stereo Upgrade + Grill question

Hey all, well I want to ask a couple of questions.

First of all, regarding the stereo in my car...its pretty average as most people know haha. Anyway, in my old VS I used to have an absolute beast of a sound system and I am just seriously missing it in my VY. I am keen to keep the factory dash look... I've done all the research into giving it phreddys mod etc with low level outputs and attaching my own amps and speakers and stuff... but I'm just curious, if I was able to find some sort of factory upgrade (ie. The statesman setup with the dual subwoofer, amp, woofers in the parcel shelf and speakers in the doors) is this any good compared to my current setup (cone speakers i assume lol?). My uncle just bought a VY Calais, and he has the woofers in parcel shelf. Stereo still sounds pretty average but I don't think he has the whole 'premium' upgrade kit from holden that they chuck in the statesman. So yeah, realistically what does the statesman/caprice factory stereo setup sound like in comparison to my car (VY Berlina)?... any help would be greatly appreciated. If it is a good enough sounding stereo, I may upgrade to it as I honestly cannot be bothered wiring up a sub and/or decent speakers and all that stuff to separate amps etc... to much effort i think lol.

And another question, how hard is it to remove the grill from the front of the berlina? I'm considering chucking a calais series 2 grill in there, then grabbing a chrome strip (when i find one haha) and putting that on there.

Can't answer your question on the Stereo, Because when it comes to sound anything standard is lame in my Books

However, For the Grill. The series 2 Calais one does not Fit, The Vy Berlina series 1 & 2, And Vy Calais Series 1 have a different shape to the Series 2 Calais.

Im feeling the same way man!!
If you do hear anything about a new setup id be keen on it too! I got a VY SS and its ok but could be soo much better. Love the factory look on the dash but want the aftermarket/upgraded sound 'hidden' so it blows ur freakin mind wen you hop in!
Ill keep an ear out if something comes up.
