BandM shifters in a Vy

Ive heard these shifters only run on cable autos, but ive only seen that on the net

Anyone know if you can run a setup like a pro-ratchet in a standered vy?

p.s. yes i know its overkill for a vy v6, that there is no need and it may give my car a larger chance of getting stolent, but its my car and id like one. So if your going to spend your time writing a post to dismiss my question, keep moving

VY still shifts via a rod/ linkage as does a T700 in earlier models so shouldn't be a worry. You will need to fab a up a mount plate on top of the tunnel and get a nice surround to cover the shifter if you are going to cut it down to integrate it.

Will be a pain in the ass but could end up looking pretty slick
