Wiring additional Screens - WK Caprice

I have a WK Caprice and want to put an extra screen in. The new screen has the standard AV cables, but the car looks hard-wired between the DVD player and the screens with no plugs. Anyone have a wiring diagram? Cheers

I think you will find the Caprice DVD player is linked to the vehicle dash radio/audio system & also the security system. The loom connects from the audio dash unit thru the centrre console to the rear DVD head unit , then individual looms to each headrest screen,via about 10 individual wires , there are no AV sockets on it at all - theres a Bosch Australia website with a technical support ph number 1300 number to get info on Holden Blaubunkt/Bosch DVD /Audio queries. Just do the website search for Bosch Australia & you will find the support number . I have tried to get a WL DVD system adapted to my VY calais & found it not compatable. It wasnt till after the WL I believe GMH changed over to DVD player/screens with AV socket wiring. Best of luck but I dont think you will be able to do it.

Further to that- If you pull your DVD player unit out of its console you will find the wiring code on the outer case of the player with the pin diagram, you will have to back probe to the harness going up to the car dash to where the harness connector is , there are 2 wires on that connector "video out A" & "Video Out B", Best of luck still though.....
