Aftermarket VY Binnacle gauge holder

I just recently installed the centre VY binnacle but wanted to ask if anyone has bought aftermarket ones that don't clip in at all. There are 4 holes that allow u 2 drill in the plastic of the car itself but i am a bit hesitant to do so. Has anyone else found an easier method to hold the binnacle in place?

I had the same one in my berlina and drilled it in. If i had the time again i wouldn't have went for it because it never really sits perfect with the dash.

There are HSV binnacles without gauges on ebay for around $220. All the binnacles take 52mm gauges

Yeah thats what i have noticed too. It doesn't sit flush which i am quite disappointed about. If i had of known i probably wouldn't have got it either.
