hey, have done all this before in several other cars but generally older cars that were easy to pull apart without freaking out about breaking them haha.
anyways just wondering if anyone has done it before, knows which floor panels are the best to pull up and/or maybe some tips and tricks?
i havent had a great look at it yet but from a quick glance seems as if there is only 1 screw?? am doing it tomorrow so help is of the best!
cheers in advance
EDIT: i mean 1 screw per panel say drivers floor, rear floor.. (that may have sounded retarded)

Carefully pry off the plastic covers on the scuff/floor panels (1 cover at each door) there are 4 extra torx screws under each one at the front, and 2 under each at the back. Once you have removed all the torx screws and the philips screw on the B pillar the panel is free. I'm not sure if the panels become "captured" by the front seats as i've never removed mine fully lol. Those torx screws tend to strip easily, so be careful when removing them.
In an auto you can run the power cable(s) for the amp through the grommet on the firewall that the clutch cable usually goes through, behind the kick panel and down the driver side under the scuff panel and into the boot. You will need to drill out the grommet to the right size for your cable.
You can run the RCA cable in the same fashion down the passenger side. It isn't necessary to remove the kick panels (especially the driver side one as it's a prick to remove), just remove the "instrument panel outer cover" instead, and you will be able to poke your cables through (details here: How to: Remove Dash and Center Console VY-VZ)

Thanks to this thread i now know what torx screws are. To late for me though i already ripped the plastic from the scuff floor panels next to the drivers seat after trying to pry it up for about 30 minutes before realising the scuff panel lifts up revealing 4 torx screws after i had ripped the plastic.
Don't you just love replacing plastic.
