    Default Bhp/kw

    Hi All

    Anyone know how much bhp a standard VY SS commodore produces...I have been told 235kw and 265kw....Which is correct?

    I have just bought a 2003 with 98k on the clock....How many k's are these engines good for,if looked after?

    I think S1 are 235 and S2 245kw but not sure. ive seen turbo engines inexcess of 230,000k's still holding together........

    series one hsv's were 260kw.

    Holden VY Commodore / Calais

    SS was 235kW (series 1), 245kW series 2.

    Series 1 HSVs were 260kW, series two were 285kW.

    how do you know what series your engine is ( series 1 or series 2)?
