vacuum leak?

I have a v6 and since ive had it it always made a hissing/sucking noise only when the engine is under load. its sounds like when you change the aircon mode. ive never really worried about it.

I just drove a friends executive the same as mine and it dosent make this noise, it also seems nicer to drive, ie faster.

could it be possible i have a vacuum leak thats causing my car to be asthmatic? any common problems i could look at?

one thing ive noticed is when i installed my 1.95 roller rockers the noise went away, but when i had my radiator replaced the noise came back.

hey,
my first car was a vt and it had a loud induction noise, never noticed it until a friend told me i should check my induction assembly, IE. stock otr, hoses, maf and throttle body. i found that one of the metal rings around the hose at the throttle body was F$%^&D. 20$ fix for the hose and throttle body clean and made it run heaps better and alot more quite. dunno about rockers though never got around to them :P
