satin silver paint? anyone?

So i was wanting to paint more of my dash. Where do i buy the satin silver paint in a spray can?

auto bahn can mix paint in to spray cans if u got the paint code for about 30 bucks a can from memory

really thanks, but i have no idea what the code is for the vy ss interior colour. and i am no where near an autobahn. only shop i have thats close is auto pro and home hardware.

i do remember seeing a thread somewhere with all the pain codes try searching for it.
the code should be under your bonnet on your placcard thingy.
have a look at your shops they might mix it alot of places do it these days

its not for the car colour paint its for the dash surroundings and stereo surroundings in a vy ss.
sorry if i sound a bit rude.
so if anyone knows the code for that colour it would be greatly appreciated.

The colour codes for the interior trims never seem to be known on the forum, only the names of the colours. I don't think you will find a readily available spray can of the satin silver under that name, but you might find an aerosol can of a silver that is close. Whether it will spray with a satin finish is another matter though, a gloss finish is more likely.

Spray painters have catalogues of exterior and interior colours for all makes and models and this silver might be listed. You could try asking a local painter.

You wouldn't find a code for dash trim colours under the bonnet or anywhere else on the car. The trim code you find relates to the upholstery and overall interior colour combination, not the little bits.

Hey op Edals put me on to "white knights squirts" it is so close a match that it is the same as the silver air bag badge on the passenger's side above the glove box. The same brand for the clear coat too, seems like good stuff, about $10-12 for each can. I've done my vent surrounds and door handles, gear selector and hand brake and this stuff wears really well when all the correct prep has been carried out. Got it from Bunnings.

sorry mate the paint i used was silver gal by anchor bond.12 bucks a can, and any clear coat. make sure you clean it well. lightly sand and use terps to clean up.
um its pretty close. i like how it all turned out.
ill post pics when i finish my lighting conversion.

i didnt use any primer. i used clear coat after, satin clear coat that is.

Yes the color was "silver", no primer, but gave it a light sand, then wiped down thoroughly with metho. Some people use wax and grease remover. Then plenty of clear coat.
