Hi, I was wondering what sort of grease people are using to lubricate their door hinges and check arms. At present I am using some CRC white lithium spray grease for the door hinges, spraying it inside the hinge pin and the door checks and I am using Castrol Zinc PH grease, also white and just putting that on the check arm. I did read in the users manual there's another grease for the actual check mechanism inside the door so just wondering how often that needs to be done, what type of grease to use and how do you get the grease in there.
If you have the owner's handbook in your car, recommended lubricants are advised in it for all moving parts.
i just used some grease i got from work all i know its red and it does the job

yeah I have read that it lists 3 types for the various parts of the mechanism, question was do the bits internal to the door need regular greasing and how is it done and if anyone uses any other type of grease what type they use as the type specified is hard to find and even castrol say just use the white PH grease.
