Hey guys, seen alot of guys setting amps into the backboard of ute.
Is there actually any space between in and the back of the tray? Like, for an average amp or something like a standered 6inch speaker?
Also, anyone taken this out?

there is no space mate. there is enough behind the seat for a sub in a small box.

I've started my project of mounting a sub in the middle of the seats. just went for a 10" as the cabin doesn't warrant a 12". Had to remove the backboard to cut the hole for it to sit. then got into the back and built a box for the sub.

alternatively you can reverse mount the sub, but I think it looks ricey. and the big magnet is a pain in the ass.
