Gday,

Today was mucking around on mates VY Berlina. Noticed when the the key was turned to ignition and off again a strange loud ticking noise from the top of the motor - similar noise a starter motor makes when the battery is flat.
Anyway i tracked it down to be the IAC motor on the throttle body, disconnected it and the sound stopped, no other commodore i know of makes this noise just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? the car idles perfectly so should we look at replacing it?
