Holden Calais 2003 VY Cruise Control Problems

I've got a problem with my cruise control, when i enable it shows up in the dash display as being enabled, and i have the option to set it. But it just doesn't work when i want to set the car to drive on any speed at all. And when i leave the car, it slows down and then "cruise control is disabled" in the dash. Any Solutions ????

check the connections in the engine bay for it (plug) and check that its still connected to the throttle (the cruise control cable)

there is a specific swtch on the brake pedal that disconects the crusie when the brake is pressed. it may need adjusting.

I've found the problem ! thanks taztassio, somehow that cruise control connection wasnt connected to the throttle
