What looks good?, external mods on VY S-pack?

Just wondering what some nice and reasonabley priced mods that could be done to the external look of a VY-s pack, not looking to change anything mechanically as im happy with the power, just want a bit of show, already have 18" rims which are black with silver inserts. The car is silver so im not sure what would look good on it, unsure if taking off my badges would just make it look like an exec with a bodykit...if i wanted that i wouldnt have bought an S lol. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated!

What Juz said. Lower it (ever so slightly), tint and black wheels is all they need.

1. If you have the money the VY SS rear spoiler looks better than the smaller S item. (I have this on my car but I ordered the car that way and it was dealer fitted. The SS unit fits in exactly the same position.)

2. Fit the "In bar" fog lights if you do not have them fitted already. They were an option on the VY S. I don't have them on my VY 11 S but I removed the ugly plastic Fillers which just clip out. You need to get behind the bar to do this.

3. Paint the "chrome" plastic Grille emblem black if you like the look as some do. There is VE thread on this. (I would not touch any other badges). (I have not done this to my car but the emblem does clip off to paint black if that's what you like).

4. Keep the car clean and polished. Do not overlook keeping the tyres clean and glossed.

5. Don't go painting the brake calipers. If they are dirty get the wheels off and clean them up. They do clean up nicely. I have seen too many guys on this Forum who have painted their calipers and then thought they looked better without painting.

6. I don't like the un- painted plastic tray ( diffuser) under the rear bumper but my car is metallic black so it looks OK. I saw a white VY S with the diffuser painted in body colour and it looked much better than the unpainted dark grey fitting. I use AmorAll Protectant on the plastic diffuser which darkens and shines it up quite bit. Do the grille over in this Protectant also. Use one of the "copy" products which are cheaper than AmorAll.

7. I would not spend money on glass tinting if you are only doing it for the looks.
The car looks better if the film colour is correct but I do it mostly to keep the sun off me in the warmer months and it does help interior temperature significantly.

8. I like the replacement VY front grilles with the gold or silver "Chevy Bow Tie" emblem and you can get the boot badge to match. I have seen a few VY and VZs with this mod and it looks very smart.

thanks for the idea's guys, ive already got the foggies installed as the last guy who owned it was a champ n took reaally good care of it, I'm honestly not a fan of people that badge holdens as chev's...it just annoys me lol, I see them around and i just think...we"re not american...what are you doing! but hey...to each their own I suppose. I Will probably tint my windows at some point but since summer is pretty much 2/3's done...i might just wait till next december. The back plastic part under the towbar i assume is what you were talking about...i dont mind that look but if you could get me a picture of what it looks like painted ide be pretty interested to see how it turns out.
