04 vy gts coupe

hi everyone,probably a really silly question but does anyone know how many 04 gts coupes were built??
have been told there might have only been 20 of the gts coupes built.
reason for asking is i have not so long ago found one and purchased,but not sure if it's as rare as some have told me..............
any how hope someone out there can help out with this.....

hi there thanks for the reply,picked the car up really really cheap at a stolen/recovered car auction,paid $23000.00 for it with the understanding that it's worth atleast double that money.thanks again steve

If that's what you paid at auction it will be wholesale market value for that particular car in the condition and kms you have on the car.

hi sorry for the slow reply,car has 69000kms on the clock,6speed manual,last of the c4b calloway motors i understand,goes super hard i'm picking the last owner has done some engine work!!

that is an absolute steal, you lucky dog lol, ide recommend, if ur not doing it already, use it as a weekend car n get a crappy daily cos that car should hold its value pretty damn well

i am guessing a couple of hundred. But try finding one on the road , gotta be worth 60 grand plus in good nick!!!!! Low Km, CV8Z 2005 VZ Monaros are worth close to that as a comparison. What colour is the beast???? ( If it's black then take 20 grand off the value)

hi guys,it was red but when it was stolen the dude painted it a custom deep purple/black colour and removed the door handles,fuel flap and body lines!! he tried hard to hide what it was by turning it into an almost show car??? got to wonder about some people......

Call HSV and give them the build number and they should be able to tell you all of the information you need.

I'd love to see some photos, and the VY GTS' were the first to offer an Auto and their were very few made in a M6...

PS. You should check the engine as the c4b's are prone to valve spring and cam lobe failures so if any of these are original it would pay to replace them.
