can anyone tell me if they have experienced rough idle in there 5.7 Holden I did an when I took it to the dealer they said it was a cracked spark plug when I asked how can this happen they looked at me as if I had 10 heads an said it was due to the plugs being non genuine. well it did fix the problem for about 3 weeks and straight back to the dealer it was they checked the plugs and found the same problem 1 cracked plug can you believe this when I asked them if it was the same cylinder as the last time I got the same 10 head look again with the reply sorry not quite sure is that service or what :b:

not a good comment at all from the guys, they are a bit of a bitch to fit plugs to maybe they cracked a plug when changing your last set.
basically you put a question on them and they could not answer that question.

Some dealers have quite an apathetic attitude towards warranty stuff, because the more times you come back, the more they get paid. Eventhough Holden doesn't pay them a great deal for labour, a few dealers are only kept busy with the warranty work volumes.

Yeah Dads V6 Supercharged also got a cracked Spark Plug yesterday... they repaired it ... I have not spoken to him as yet to see what transpired... He also said something about them replacing a spark lead... Basiclly the car under load misfired and spluttered and went nowhere...
