    Default Vy Series 2 S Ute V6 Extractors/Exhaust Help

Hey guys, im sorry if this question has already been answered ive tried searching but theres not really any cleer answer.

    Ive got a VY Series 2 S Ute, 3.8 V6.
Its got a 2.5" Catback system at the moment, Im after some extractors for it, Its a N/A engine, will there be enough back pressure to run the following pacemakers:

    PH 5061 - COMPETITION HEADER
    VT-VX-VU-VY | 3.8 LITRE V6
Supercharged | Automatic | TUNED Design

    P/Steering: Yes
    Air Con: Yes
    Oxy Sen: Yes
    Gasket: PHFG 5061
    Primary Pipe: 1 ¾"(44mm)
    Secondary Pipe:
    Outlet (flanged): 2 ½" (63mm)
    Y Branch: No

Im planning on getting a Cold Air Intake and Some high Ratio Rockers after the extractors if that affects anything.

Also while i have your attention haha, the FIT 1.97:1 ratio rockers, are then any downsides to fitting such high ratio rockers to a dialy driven car?

Thanks for your time guys, its very much appreciated!!

    Cheers Ryan.

Being a VY series 2, I strongly advise that you purchase a set of 1.95:1 Yella Terra RR's instead. As for the extractors, they will be a little on the large side for a mild n/a v6..

Because FIT rockers are 'remanufactured' and while many people may have had success with them, if I were you, I'd rather a set of NEW rockers in my engine.

Go for the Yella Terra versions.
As for the extractors. you'll be fine with any of those.

Modified stock rockers have lead to bent/broken pushrods.. I have a pic somewhere, pretty shocking stuff..
With most of the VY S2's Holden got pretty slack and left a fair few casting dags in the heads. The re-manufactured rockers don't really work well due to the change in geometry (so I've been told). Well something along those lines. (it's late and I've had a few glasses of wine).

The PH5060's are perfect. I have something similar but mine are HM Headers instead of pacemaker.

Okay thanks alot mate for the heads up, and thanks for the info on the extractors!!

Does anybody know anything about the full exhaust systems by pacemaker? ive been searching everywhere and all i can find is whats on pacemakers site, might be because of the price of them... roughly 2000 i think, but i guess thats what you pay for a decent full stainless twin system. Any info regarding these systems would be much appreciated thanks alot guys you do a great job!!!

i also have a vy series 2 ute and there a bit of a pain with extractors and full exhaust mate.
take it to the shop and get em to check it out.
i have lukey extractors into twin high flow cats then the y piece and 2.5" catback lukey with no mufflers sounds pretty good now.

And im also looking to get CAI and rockers now so let me no what you go with man.
