Squeking noise when accelerating

I have a squeking noise when i accelerate......anyone know wat it could be??

Could be the belt slipping due to a pulley bearing starting to seize. Remove the belt and sping each pulley to see if they all spin freely.

lol westie. its not constant but any time ur accelerating it starts, but if u put ur foot into it it stops

hmm. my mate suggested it was some thing in the wheels or near there. ill get him to have a look for me

I've had this problem and got three solutions from three different places all costing no less than $300.
The Fourth guy just changed the belt and that fixed the problem!!

Mine has been doing this a little bit of late, especially when the engine is still cold. I was thinking belt too as it's done 113,000k's.
