Passenger door lock siezing

My mates VY equipe series 2 has the lock not working with the rest of the central locking system. Does anyone know what could cause this problem.

I just fixed this in mine.

Had to replace the whole locking assembly in the door. Pretty quick and easy job.

Im having the exact problem with my vy series 2 aswell. the back left door unlocks when it feels like.

is this a quick do it yourself job or should i take it into the dealer? (mines covered under warranty)

If it's covered in warranty then get it done at a dealer, otherwise it's fairly straight forward. Run a search, quite a few threads on this already.
