Hi,
I bought a GTS MAF pipe and when I attempted to fit it tonight it wouldnt go on. I have a Growler intake and I'm guessing this is the problem.
Has anyone else come across this?
Basically the pipe and bellow seem to be too long and the bellow which connects onto the MAF seems to fowl one of the front engine pulleys. I guess that the Growler inlet sits slightly further to the centre of the car than the factory airbox does.
Also would be interested in hearing from anyone who has a Growler and a GTS style MAF pipe that works!
Cheers
ps Car is a VY SS
I haven't tried this personally, but the Growler intake is known for being on the lower end in the performance result compared to other OTR intakes.
Sorry I can't help with the fitting issue but I thought I would let you know in case it helps
Hi yeah I know this now with doing some searching around a few sites, but it came with the car (only had it 2 weeks) so might as well use it.
I think the problem is that the growler inlet is lower down than the oem airbox which is why the bellow hits the engine pulley.
