Default Need help replacing a piece of interior

    Hey guys

I was moving my TV and went around a corner too quickly. Hello cracked interior piece.

Has anyone replaced this part before? The seatbelt runs through it and it looks like a pain in the ass but it bothers me so much knowing its cracked that i simply need to fix it some how.

Anyone had any experience with this?

    Cheers
    Seb

First off how did your TV get all the way up there?

Second: remove the back seat, Remove the parcel shelf, remove the grab handle, remove the seat belt, and unclip the trim piece. Thats how I see it getting done.

    (1) You have to remove the back seat cushion. Lift up the front of the seat cushion to expose the pull down release handles at either side of transmission tunnel. Pull them and remove Cushion.
    (2) Remove the two bolts holding the backrest to the floorpan
    (3) Lift the backrest frame from the hooks on the body panel near the parcel shelf and remove backrest.
    (4) Remove the bolt securing the rear seat belt buckle and belt to the floor pan of the car.
    (5) Remove the seat belt escutcheon from the "C" pillar trim, 2 screws in grip handle and one screw
    in "C" trim.
    (6) Gently prise trim away with a small screw driver (5 or 6 clips) and feed the seat belt through.

When you're putting the back seat cushion back, put the cushion into place with the back of the cushion in under the back rests. Push down hard on the front of the cushion, pulling down on handle to help lock into place.

    Hope this helps.
