My stock V6 VY wagon is about to hit the big 200k so looking at giving it a bit of a birthday. So far I'm thinking engine oil, trany flush, coolant flush , diff oil, spark plugs , O2 sensors .
Brake fluid done 6 months ago and I have a K&N so thats all good.
Anything else that I should be doing??
mm new leads perhaps, air filter, fuel filter, do all this and should drive pretty sweet
Are they the original O2's?
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
Yeah I think so - only had for bout a year but last owner gave me full service history - didn't see anything about O2 sensors.
Also I did the fuel filter about 6 months ago with the brake fluid.
Def do O2's then.

-- check the condition of the serpentine belts and change them if in doubt. They are cheap to buy from Holden.
--- check the condition of all rubber coolant hoses and replace any suspect hoses. Replace the radiator cap if the one fitted has not been renewed changed in the past 2 years or so.
--- check the condition of the flexible brake fluid hoses on all 4 corners. If these have never been renewed I would replace them soon if this was my car and you intend keeping it for a few more years.
-- change the oil filter - not just the oil (- but I guess that was your intention).
Also get your Shockies/struts & front upper strut bearings replaced, & your front castor bushes replaced. Power steering pump (& fluid) would be about ready to expire too , unless its been replaced already, front wheel bearings also
Cheers for that guys- looks like I got a bit of work to do but all worth doing!!
