Hey guys i not to long ago bought a 04' commodore s ute.

I just recently booked in to have my rear muffler removed and replaed with copper pipe for $100 to improve the sound of my car for a cheap price whilst i wait to save money for a new system.

Do you think this is ok and wont do any damage to my car? but also improve the sound?

thats expensive for doing absolutley nothing.... save your $100 and add to it, then when you have enough you can get a full catback system. which isnt that much.

Yes save the $100 as well as the fine you might get if the police decide to look your car over because of noise and give you a defect and rectification notice.

Removing the muffler is not legal and you are setting yourself up for more expense.

So your choice is to be smart and holding on to your cash OR ........you know what.
