VY2 Tail lights

Hey all.

I have been looking around for tail lights for exec with clubsport body kit.

Damn coppers have finally pulled me over with tinted tail lights after 5 years of driving around with them.

I have been unable to find any online stores that sell for the vy and that will have the full covering of my current ones, i have tried putting the original ones back on, but they leave a big gap between them and the bumper.

Any help will be great.

I have tried a few places but nothing has come up.

I have the 14 day notice to replace them, i can put the exec ones back on, but they look dicky

So what tail lights were you using when you got defected? I thought all VY Commodore tail lights were the same fitment

I have some VYII calais lights with no scratches for sale if you want. Only reason I removed them is because I upgraded to VZ Calais tail lights.

I live in wagga.

They were tinted tail lights, i have been driving around with them for about 5 years, and never once pulled over, i have been thru sydney new castle etc and highway patrol have followed me right thru sydney etc and never pulled over.

Although since i have changed jobs i have been driving into town which gives me more exposer.

The point I was trying to make is if your VY Executive lights leave a gap then any VY lights will leave the same gap??

Nah, the Exec and SS lights are shorter. Berlina and Calais lights are about 40mm deeper and that's what he has been running. When he puts the Exec lights back in, he has that 40mm gap between the bottom of the light and the top of the bumper cut-out.
