Blown headgaskit

Hi I have a 2003 vy v6 non supercharge commy recently i was driving it nd it just turned of there was a lota smoke comming from the engine and the water cap was lose when i opned the bonnet ithink the headgaskits gone its got lpg on it aswell i was wondering if i can do the replacement of the headgaskit at home as i have a bit of experience i was a mechanic about 9 years ago so m not upto date with lpg repairs any help would be appricated thanks

I know plenty ofnpeople who have replaced their own just get a manual book and you will need a torque wrench

ide get a gaskit to.

Is there any sign of oil in the water and water in the oil..? It might have just overheated..

hi i filled water in it but it just flows back out like a valcano if i leave the cap of and when i fill it with water and put the cap on it overheats in 5 mins or so thanks i will be getting the book this weekend and try and fix it will keep upto date on here with the progress cheers
