    Default my VY ss ute

hello i;ve had my vy ss for about a month now and although i love it i dont stand out that much, it has after marked 18's on but thats it. im trying to scrape some money together to lower it but i want to do some things in the mean time, some cheap D.I.Y things that will male it my car so to speak, at the moment im in the process of making a mesh grill and im going to take the ss badges off and paint them black and blue because my interior is black and blue.

does anyone have any other idea's for me ?

Do not paint the SS badges black and blue it will look really cheap and tacky.

I would not be replacing the front grille with a DIY one either. If you want the all black grille look pull the badge from the grille and paint it black. There is a thread here on how to do that. You can also buy replacement Chev type grilles for the car from JHP Vehicle Enhancements - Specialise in Holden Monaro and Commodore Spoilers, Body Kits, Tyre and Wheel Packages. for a reasonable price if you like them.

Window tint on side and rear windows is not very expensive for a ute.

It's a really nice car as it is now and with window tint, a painted hard cover over the tray (expensive)and a slightly lower suspension setting the car will look excellent. It does not need anything else.

IF you do not have one get a good tow bar with decent length tongue on it to protect you from crash damage from all the "multi tasking" female drivers behind you playing with their mobile phones on their lap and putting on their face paint whilst swerving from lane to lane. I had another one of these behind me yesterday whilst I was slowing for a red light. She drove 150 metres looking at her lap. I think she thought she was a passenger and then thought - oh gee - I'm the driver and then decided to apply the brakes.
