    Default heavy duty clutch

my clutch has about a months worth of life left. I have a VY s pack sedan and wondering how much a heavy duty clutch inc dual mass flywheel will set me back? my mechanic says it'll cost me 2300 bucks but i reckon his pulling my leg.

Also can anyone point me out to a good place to get a heavy duty clutch for my v6 vy?

i was thinking of going to northern brake and clutch in kensington as they have a exedy heavy duty clutch inc dual mass flywheel on ebay for 1k. would this be my best bet?

Yeah, that kit will do the job. Except you void your warranty buying it off ebay...

There is a single mass conversion kit for the VY. This way it makes any future clutch replacements cheaper and simpler.

Yes. If you purchase anything through auction (like ebay), even at a fixed buy-it-now price, you void all warranty and the manufacturer has no obligation under consumer and retail laws to honor any sort of warranty. EVEN if that underlying store is an actual exedy dealer...

Of all the brands we deal with, Exedy are the ones who continually stress this point to us... RDA or others you may get away with it, but definitely not Exedy!

We refuse to sell anything on ebay, except for a limited range of QFM pads, of which we warrant them anyway.
