Was wondering if anyone had a stage 2 shift kit in there vy v6, and if I could come check out what its like. (South Eastern Suburbs)

Also, does a stage 2 shifty help with down changing?

Cause I read somewhere that stage 2 helps with up shifts and stage 3 helps with down and up shifts. And apparently there is a stage 4 which is a fully manualised auto.

stage 3 is fully manualised. the stage 2 helps with 1-2 shift and partly the 2-3 shift.

Forget about stage 3 manualised on a stock box. Stage 2 is the go and should cost you around $450- $600 including the trans service
