Default check engine light keeps coming on

as far as i know the engine is fine. oil was replaced about 3,000k's ago and everything else was fine 9,000k's ago. the clutch is fried and is going to be replaced soon but other then that im not sure what could be wrong with it?
    should i be worried?

hmmm i know that my engine light goes off after flogging my car above 100km/h and doing over 3500 rpm, this is simply because of the oxygene sensor is playing up since i punch the guts of my cat out, thats only thing i can suggest?

o2 sensors might of blown? best bet is check the error codes of your computer, search it in the thread and you should be able to find the codes and answers, does it come on as soon as you start the car now? sounds like o2 sensor but could be anything, check the error codes

do you hear air getting sucked in, air leak ? when mine was doing like yours i was thinking it was the o2 sensor's after reading problems that othere ppl was having. but it ended up only being a small air hose that had moved as it did not come out of the hole it was in. used some glue and no more check engine light
