rear bar confusion

i brought a clubsport rear bar for my executive of ebay but i put in on and there is an inch or so gap between the bottom of the taillights and the bar but all of the screws line uo perfect ???????

Is it a genuine part or some shity fibreglass one made wrong..

nah its a genuine plastic one, fits perfect except that gap under the lights so i thought the cluby lights might be a bit longer

you sure the rear bar you brought from ebay wasn't a modified bar to fit the berlina and Calais cars? .. Or are you sure you have an executive and not a berlina/Calais yourself? .. as the berlina and Calais models have a different fitting around the bottom of the lights, check up these things and that could help you a little with your problem..

yeh and i think from memory (which isnt great) the clubsports might have had the same lights as the berlinas as you said.. So you could maybe try and borrow some berlina lights from somewhere and see how they fit up :P

i 100% my car is executive but if it is modified could i just buy calais taillights or is it different in otherways to or scrap the bar

yeah i give that a crack i hope its that easy, i just took the bar to the panel shop to get sprayed up

nah dude dont scrap the bar!!! .. My guess would be that they will fit, but wait for some more answers before taking my word for it hehe ...

You need calais or berlina tail lights, get VY series 1 Berlina taillights, they are the ones that were used on VY HSV's

As above, VY/Z HSVs used Berlina/Calais lights, so they are the larger style lights. Theres nothing wrong with the bar.

So your only option is to buy the larger lights (VZ Execs/lumina's have the larger lights too, if its cheaper getting those)

Thats because you have the same tail lights as the HSVs........
The OPs tail lights are the smaller kind.
