VZ bonnet on a VY?

Hi all,
I had a little look around but cant seem to find much on this.

Is it possible (with little modification) to fit a VZ bonnet onto a VY?

I guess it'd fit hinge wise, but you'd need to change the grille, headlights and front bar too for it to close right (just from looking at it).

yes my mate done this, he had to change the whole front end, not as easy as it looks

Why Guards?

They are the same shape?

At a guess I'd say front bar/grille, reo bar, headlights and bonnet.

ive done the change 2 a vz calais front on my vy exec and all that needed changing was front bar, headlights, grill. u can put the vz bonnet on it even with the vy front but the bonnet lines wont line up with the bar, just 2 give u an idea ive put up a pic of my front b4 with vy front and after with vz

You've got VZ guards on that don't you?

Fairly sure the head lights are a slightly different shape.

I'm 100% sure VY-VZ have the same guard-headlight area shape.

Yep they do, I put a set off VZ Guards on my VY SS and they fit perfect with no need to change headlights unless your changing the front bar as well and vz front bars don't cater for the tear drop on the VY Headlights.
