Question Replacing Leather Front Seat Covers on Calais with New Ones - Steps????

Can anyone list how to change front seat LeatherCovers??? ie How to get the seat apart/headrests out/unclip the seat hardback area to access the inner seat/etc etc. I cant find anything on how to pull seats apart in any Service Workshop Manuals. Worried about airbags/seat wiring etc. Has anyone ever done this job - I have a brand new set of Factory Leather Covers ready to put on as my oldies are split on the seat backs squb where you get in & out of the car........HELP!!!!!

    Dissconect the battery

Remove the trim on the floor where the runners are to expose the bolts to the floor, undo bolts, wiring and remove the seat's

Now remove the trim at the seat base there will be hidden screws at behind little black clips, Yours might have extra wiring and switches as its a calais (and mines not) so when your removing the trim with the seat controls just take a bit of care not to damage anything.

Remove the screws to the 2 parts of the seat can be removed from each other.

Now to get the plastic seat backing off there are 2 clips under it, they can be a bit hard to get off and you will likely damage one getting it off but they are like $2 from holden. Looking up through the bottom of the seat you will be able to push the plastic part away a bit and get a screw driver up there to inclip the clips.

once you have it all apart you can see that the seat covers can just clip off the frame and then the new onec clip on.

If you send me your email i can send through some pics.
