VY Calais LED Display problems

Hey guys,
ive had a search but cant find info on this issue. anyway ive noticed over time that the led display where the odo is on my calais has over time got worse and worse. It is now at the stage that it is impossible to read the odo cause the little display is just filled up with black dots, like all the pixels are black. All the other displays work fine so im stumped as to what is happening.
the problem does not come up immediately but as soon as it has done the holden system check then they start going black and keep getting darker until it gets to the stage that you just cant read anything.

any help or ideas to fix this are appreciated.

I'd say its buggered. the little screen has filled its undies.

So it's clear when the car is turned off? Then goes black with little dots?

Have you tried replacing the globes?

tis happened to my mates vy he had it on his list of things to get fixed and then one day he said he just started the car like normal and it was working perfectly and has been ever since
