If you have a VY S, the original headlights are a different shape to the VZ ones. You'll notice your parking lights are small, circular and located centrally at the bottom of the headlight. Your bumper bar has room to accommodate for this. The VZ SS on the other hand has the parkers underneath the indicator lens on the outer edge of the headlight casing, which if fitted on your car would leave an empty space in the bumper where your old parkers were.

It would be easier to go for the VY SS headlights, they at least have the dark lens. Otherwise, if you're after the halogen globes you may need to fit a VZ bumper bar (VY Berlina & Calais bumpers will also fit).

    Hope this helps.

VZ lights will fit a VY.
You will notice a gap in your bar from the VY park light. Either get it filled or buy a different front bar.

Im chasing a set of the projector style headlights from a VZ to install and get the cover filled and repainted, cheaper than buying a different bar although I would like to change it to something different

Getting it filled will look like s**t, no matter how good a job you do!

For the record changing from VY HL to VZ projector lights, you'll need the front bar to suit & bonnet. Reason VY to VZ bonnets are different, dont believe me.

I have seen a bar plastic welded, re painted and it looks great. No park light gaps and the projector lights fitted without changing the bar or bonnet. That was done on a VY S

But still why do that when you can get a front bar that looks proper!

New Bar + Bonnet + painting (possibly freight as well) then trying to sell the old bar and bonnet = a lot more $ and worry than some plastic welding and painting Thats the way I look at it.
