Hello,
I purchased a VY Lumina about 1 year ago and have never had any problems, though I did notice that one of the side windows had been replaced as there was constantly glass in the little round drain hole on the inside of the door and there was some damage to the inside of the door also where the hinges seemed to have been a bit buckled...
I never took any notice of it as I assumed the window has just been replaced, but I recently saw an segment on TV where cars were being dodgily repaired and in one case the airbag was actually replaced with a cotton rag to 'fool' the electronic sensors after a minor accident had set off the airbag.
What I'm wondering is if the SRS warning light would come on if anything had been dodgy with the airbags or if I could check the functionality another way.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Crash into something. That should do it. :P
haha jkz
Awesome reply...
If you run it into a Panel shop and ask them to have a squiz, they will probably be able to tell you mate. Might cost you a few bucks but its better to be safe then sorry eh?
Otherwise I'm not sure thats something you should be fiddling with, assuming you've limited knowleage on the subject.
