hey guys i'm thinking of selling my 2003 vy s pac towards the end of this year just wanting to get some opinions of how much you think its worth, i was thinking of selling the car audio gear separately or maybe even keeping it for my next car as i still have the stock commodore head unit.
-105,000KM

-detailed every 2-3 months
-Excellent condition inside and out, with very few scratches inside and out

-pioneer single disc headunit with ipod connectivity
-Kicker 6" speakers
-kicker comp 12" sub with kicker amp
-tinted windows, darkest legal 35% (no bubbles or peeling, just done 3 months ago)
-vy ss headlights and foglights with blue vision globes and white LED parkers (still also have the series 1 stock headlights)
-All white LED festoon globes inside
-k and n panel filter
-brand new front tyres (rears 1 year old)
-still has stock 16" wheels and FE2 suspension with full size spare
-completely de-baged except for front and back lion

-service history
iv owned the car since 80,000km or 2.5 years (very fussy owner), serviced it every 10,000 kms and had everything fixed as soon as i felt something wasn't right, which was once for the radiator and another time for squeaky brakes, no major engine problems car has not missed a beat.
Carsales have them going for anywhere between 13500 and 16900 with roughly the same km's, i was thinking of a starting price of about 15000.....

Most of the mods mentioned really do not add any value. With those Kms, if it's sound mechanically and if the body work and interior is in excellent condition, then around 15000 sounds sensible as an "asking price". I assume it is an auto. Could be different in 6 -8 months time though (when you say you will sell it) and no doubt you will have many more Kms on the car then.
that aint darkest legal tint hahah more like no int
il swap u for ur front end.. plus cash!!!! seriuosly
Yeah good luck with $15,000. Can't even get that for my SS.
lol if thats the car in your avatar, with the smoke going everywhere, people might think twice before they buy it lol
my mates dad sold his for $17000 it was on carsales for around 9 months before he sold it

He was really looking for an approximate starting price at which to advertise the car.
With the price of fuel only going up($2.00 per litre is not far off), the extra annual rego charges on V8s compared with 6 cyl cars and the much higher insurance costs on SS models, I suspect the V8s are a lot less popular than you might think. Still a very nice model though regardless of the ownership costs.
Location is also a major factor to consider when selling a vehicle. Where are you based & what is the market there like? Also, did you buy it from the original owner?
Re the avatar, that could also be at a carwash lol...
thanks for the reply guys.....i understand thats its still pretty stock and was only looking for a starting price...being realistic i realise id be lucky to get 15000
haha those pics were taken last year
its at an automatic car wash lol...i can c what u mean though
how long ago was that
lol at the guy thinking the water at the carwash was smoke haha, but yes...I find the best burnouts are done inside small narrow alleyways with carwash equipment hanging off the walls
My VY S-PackHaving less rights than a balinese prison
Pet Peeves - V6 Modded Exhausts - Rims on Front/Stockies on back - Chev Badges - Kitted cars with trolley strips - Fusion & it's fanboys
hahahaha ohhhh ... well ya never know, could be doin burnouts in the carwash lol ... i feel stupid now, ill shutup heh
based in melbourne bayside area not to sure what the used car market is like as i said only been through carsales briefly to gain a rough estimate on what there going for. Directly to where im located i dont think theres much of a market for used commodores unless its for a p-plater/first car. I purchased the car from a dealer, i am the second owner, the car was originally a telstra fleet car (unfortunately) but it does have service history.
about 3 months ago now mate
i can vouch for guyman.
his car is one of the cleanest vy's i have ever seen.
tha is probably as he has ocd and if there is one bit of dust on the car the whole thing must be washed.
15g is always good to start.
just see what they will offer you when you advertise.
