vy s II headlights

Can anyone tell me if the headlight switch on a 2004 vy s II should light up

the switch? do you mean the one on the right? because as far as I can tell theres nothing there too light up?

Yes. The headliht switch on the right hand side. We have just installed fodlights and have replaced the s switch with a berlina switch with the pull out fog light switch in it. But nothing lights up now. There is no indication to say the lights are on. The Mode switch on the left hand side lights up?

I"ve done the same as you, and if you look closely at the switch there isn't anything in it that can light up, its all just painted on. the indication that your foggies are on...is that its pulled out, its as simple as that.

I'm preety sure it's meant to light up, all the little simbles are meant to and then when you pull the fog light one out the thing on top of it lights up im pretty sure.
I will double check it but im 80% sure it does.

The switch on my VY s2 Berlina lights up, the icons around the edge and the marking on the dial itself - I haven't had any modification made to it, completely factory for now

vy s series 1 sedan with foglights and my switch does light up

My VY SS II switch lights up (when ignition is on) and also a mates VY S does the same.

Foglight indicator is a green icon on the dash

Does the vy s 11 have a foglight indicator on the dash. These lights are not standard so I was unsure if the provision was made for an indicator?

guyman says his vys series 1 switch lights up and sixes says his mate with a vy s lights up but what about in a vy s series 2? This is a bit confusing. Different answers from different people.

it will. the prob with them is that the LED tends to get moved over time. so sometimes half of it doesn't light up. they're a cun.t to change though. i changed mine to white and it was hard to do because of the copper plate in there
