    Default Rev Variation In Park

Hey guys, since ive had my car its revs when in park have been a little off to me, it idles at about 700rpm but after driving it sometimes if I slide it into park for a little while to get out to open a gate or to talk to somebody or anything like that, I can hear it not idling smoothly and it will often kick up from 700 to 1100 just to keep it going I think. is it in need of a tune or is there something else more suspect?

anybody with any input?, what do other peoples VY's tend to idle at in park? it behaves itself most of the time but occassionaly the revs drop n it almost stalls which boots the revs up to 1100'ish n im pretty sure thats not healthy? any input would be appreciated

was your air conditioner on? most cars rev up a bit when it kicks in for short periods of time, i notice it driving a few different cars at work with air con on.

It may also be your cooling fan kicking in. The rev's would drop down when it does, then to compensate it would rev high

    Jus' my 2 cents
I may have broken the law, but that doesn't make it wrong!

thanks for the input guys, its never stalled so its not overly worrying I just thought it might be something worth inquiring about, runs smooth as when driving it so no complaints I guess
