VY SS UTE Dual exhaust tips???

hey guys,
want to get some opinions on good looking exhaust tips for my ute.
red vy ss ute with dual exhaust(one each side)

It came with chrome oval tips from the dealer which dont look all that good so i need to change them asap.

all opinions/comments welcome

i thought the petrol tank was in the way for dual exhaust?? Had a vy exec and a vz clubby and wanted dual exhaust on both but a few people told me it couldnt be done?? I must 'not have asked enough mechanics!

were talking about a UTE the fuel tank sits just behind the cabin just under the tray floor

twin 3" straight tips on each side. had them on my old ute:

Mine are Lukey 2.5" stainless tips. They look pretty good, though PHATSS tips look fricken awesome.

i was gonna go with dump tips, they would look good but i was told at D&T in adelaide that they might ruin the sound a bit 'cos of the tips angled at the ground slightly took their advice.

twin dumps man!!! i'm about to modify a VE 2.5" twin system to fit my VU SS getting rid of rear mufflers and having it dump just behind the back weels unlike my system now hahaha

HAHA yeh sure dual cannons on a v8 and then a big arse drift spoiler too!!!(sarcasm) lol hahahahahaha the plan is for dual twin 3inch tips,
just gotta find some cheap ones. mandurah muffler and towbar centre deal with an exhaust tip company called blue diamond. they make excellent products but OMFG there expensive for one twin 3inch tip (1 into 2) they want $160, so two tips would be $320!!!! they said they'd fit them both for that price and they said thats all they could help me out. now i dont know about you guys but i dont wanna have to hock in a kidney just to get decent looking exhaust tips.

All i want is a pair of matt black (1 into 2) 3inch tips i dont care if there mild steel or stainless steel cos there gunna be painted black.
does anyone know of any CHEAP places in mandurah/bunbury/perth/south west area where I can either buy these tips and/or have them installed?

some exhaust shops can make you up tips out of offcuts......

yeh just went to another shop on my lunch break (mufflers'r'us) stainless steel twin 3inch tips 140each plus 50 to install them which is $330 all up and they r a nicer tip.
hey roy do you know of anywhere that would make them up out of offcuts cheaper than 140each?

just ring around man, don't ask for tips just say i need new tips and was wondering if you guys could knock some up for me out of offcuts (3 inch mild steel)

MUTANT: hey man, at work atm so i cant c the pic haha. i also wouldnt mind getting a some pipes made up that exit just infront of the rear wheels haha like the v8 super cars but 1 pipe on each side
