High rev Acceleration noise

Ey boys, ive had my VY berlina Ecotec for 3 months now and i have never revved the nuts off it.

I recently have noticed that when i am overtaking and the gearbox selects a lower gear, when the revvs exceed 4000-4500 ish revs i hear a shuddering or vibration noise coming from either under the bonnet or under the dash.
I also feel a strong vibration on the acceleration pedal when the revvs get high. Putting it in Power mode doesnt help and it does it no matter how much i am on the throttle.

I want to keep this car in a very stock form because i want to sell it within the next 8 months, does anyone know what the problem is? any help at all would be appreciated.

Mine sounds weird when revved highly, and yes there is considerable vibration through the pedal... but I just thought that was ECOTECs for ya. My VS also used to sound and feel quite harsh at high revs.
