Sound System Installation

Hey Guys,

Looking for a good quailty, fair priced place to install my sound system. Will consist of 2x 6" splits (front), 2x 6" Speakers (rear doors), double din head unit, subwoofer, and 2 amplifiers.

In my last car I had the system installed at JB Hifi and was not to impressed with the final job (wires falling out of compartments, faulty wiring job on sub and front speakers etc etc)

I am looking for a great place within Sydney...suggestions please..

If your near the hills area, Northwest customs do a fantastic job! and i think you'll find they're alot cheaper than jb or strathfield.

just a suggestion aswell, go the back parcel shelf as they"ll sound alot better than speakers in the back door, maybe ask a few mates aswell, it all varies from shop to shop, not company to company on the quality of your install because every installer does things differently and there may be guidelines for how the install is done at a place like jb, but it comes down to the individual that does it, and if you get it done at one of the bigger places, request that one of their in-house staff does the install, not a private contractor as some of those companies tend to contract installs out and can be a bit dodgey with their work.

Went with Northwest Customs. They quoted cheaper than JB Hi-Fi and include a life time warranty on installation!

Sergei (the owner) is very professional and so nice. He spoke to me in terms I could understand (unlike most car modifiers) and explained the whole job and set up on completion. System sounds great and Sergei offered me a free re-tune in about 3 weeks. Nicest guy!

Will definately be using/ recommending his services in the future.
